I do not know where you have already looked that gave you your two results, but I am assuming that two of your search terms would have been the author's name (Flannery O'Connor) and the title of your story (which probably should be keyed in simply as Hard to Find).

For that third term -- the "focus" term -- of course Misfit will do; another option would be character or characterization, although you would get the best results if you typed in character*.  Another possibility, although it is a bit of a reach, would be the word evil.
